A free event focussing on myth busting apprenticeships and skills is being held to mark National Apprenticeship Week 2025.
Keele University is inviting businesses and employers to their Apprenticeships and Skills Panel Breakfast Event as part of their ongoing commitment to driving skills development.
The session will provide guidance and also update businesses on the current skills landscape including insights from Skills England and the opportunities and challenges within the new Growth and Skills Levy system.
Speakers include:
- Rachel Laver, Chief Executive Officer, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce.
- Chris Rawlinson, Head of Learning and Development, DJH.
- Jane Tunnicliff, Group Head of Employer Engagement and Training, Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group.
- Craig Wallace, Associate Director Learning and Education, University Hospitals of North Midlands.
- Lou Taylor-Murison, Head of Apprenticeships and Partnership-based Learning, Keele University.
The event takes place between 8.30am and 11am at the Denise Coates Building, on the university’s campus, on Tuesday, 11 February.
