One of North Staffordshire’s top restaurants has been awarded two prestigious AA Rosettes.
Lunar, located at the World of Wedgwood in Barlaston, has won a host of accolades since opening in 2021.
Director Craig Wilkinson said the team is incredibly proud to receive two AA Rosettes.
He said: “I am so proud of our team to receive this accolade.
“The whole team fully deserves every bit of recognition for regularly going above and beyond to serve our guests to the highest of standards.”
The AA Rosette scheme celebrates successful cooking at different levels across the UK. According to the AA, two rosettes are given to “excellent restaurants that aim for and achieve higher standards and better consistency.”
Lunar’s modern dining experience aims to celebrate Stoke-on-Trent’s rich heritage while embracing contemporary culinary techniques and craftsmanship.
Meals are served on Wedgwood china and drinks are served in Waterford crystal.
Brand-new menus have been launched with new additions to the à la carte menu including locally-sourced beef fillet steak from Dunwood Farm served with triple-cooked chips.
There is also a classic set menu offering two courses for £20 and the multi-course Lunar Experience menu.
Craig added: “Our team have been working tirelessly to develop these new menus, striving to create something for everyone.
“Their creativity and standard of quality is truly commendable, and to have been awarded two AA Rosettes, it really shows the journey we are on at Lunar in providing high quality dining experiences for our guests, always willing to listen, learn and evolve.”
