Local businesses across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire are being invited to share their experiences and outlook for the months ahead as the first Quarter 2026 Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) officially opens.
The QES is a vital tool for the Chambers’ lobbying efforts, with themes fed back to MPs, the British Chambers of Commerce, the Bank of England, as well as Government departments including HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office.
The survey allows organisations of all sizes and sectors to report on business confidence, key challenges and expectations for the first quarter of the year. Results are then combined with data from Chambers across the UK to build one of the largest and most influential business surveys in the country.
Chris Plant, Interim CEO of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “Now is the time for local businesses to share what they are seeing. The QES makes sure their experiences are heard and can help shape the support and policies that affect the region.”
The Chambers are encouraging participation from start-ups, sole traders, SMEs and larger employers. Input from a diverse range of organisations helps ensure local business needs are accurately represented.
The survey takes only a few minutes to complete and can be completed online or via a short paper form.
Paper copies are also available from the Staffordshire Chambers office. Complete the survey, here
